Today was a very interesting day. Following me waking up from the cities morning call and realizing that I was off today I decided to tend to my small garden. However as I got my sandals on and walked out to my roof I was quickly met with an abrupt change of weather within the habitat.
Not only did it begin to swiftly rain cold water all of a sudden, lightning strikes began to occur, echoing throughout the entire habitat. It was very strange since I had only witnesses this back Home during the storm season in Xomatlan.
While I do understand that the point of the engineers building the para-terraformed sections was to have the experience and similar environment which I am glad they had done in the early to mid 46th century (22nd for non Union members) , I never expected it being able to support full on storms. Of course I later found out it was only due a sudden amount of static electricity being released it was still a welcoming experience that made me once again appreciate the meteorological chaos back home.
geez! remind me to pack an umbrella next time I find myself over there!

ReplyDeleteI will ignore the entirety of the racial comment you said but yes, it's not surprising I love the rain since I grew up in a commonly stormy are which I dearly miss. I wish I can get extended shore leave some time to go back home and see my cousin, G'armi

DeleteWe should take a trip to Cupin so I can show you my family farm in Doayu. Though trips from Yolia to Cupin are very specifically timed since there needs to be a good launch window.
