While scrolling through my PDA I found this photo of an older part of my Family's Farm. Sometimes I regret choosing the Spacers Guild for my mandatory military service. I understand that I've gotten to see not only Arkadia, but Yolia and Kelumpan along with the other belt colonies, but something still feels empty in me, like I'm missing an entire chapter, or some core. When I have time off and can stare past the pressurized glass into space, I like to think that my cousin G'armi is staring off into the night sky and can somehow see me, and despite that being illogical it feels almost true. I really do miss Home.

Aww, I'm sure he's watching, or at least I hope he is. Sometimes I get homesick for my hometown on Arkadia, while most of the scenery I could only see through a pressurized mask, I truly appreciated the beautiful landscape there. <3
ReplyDeleteKa'Jasaq'ed is such a beautiful moon, being stationed there was like seeing a land before time, so isolated, so purple. And the nights with the soft gentle rain was like a dream.
