Sorry (Not actually sorry, rhetorical statement)

While as Chief of Customs I usually do have to deal with different travelers and people docking or mooring into Section D9, today as particularly aggravating and very, very, VERY infuriating.

(Please be warned that I will be using very personal opinions)

So a Merchant Vessel bound to here from Caer Llan docked which isn't odd, correct. While I don't have any issue with Commonwealth starships crews, this particular group was instead VERY much the opposite of past crews who usually bring people with pleasantly colorful personalities. It all started when one of my officers told me they were having issues contacting the crew as they refused to allow mooring lines be used to hold their ship in place because it "would damage their electronics". While yes, the strong electro-magnets can damage things, they should have known that ahead of time as information on Yolia and union standard docking for ships of certain size and cargo must be docked outside of the maw. Yet, despite this being a common fact, the commonwealth crew STILL ARGUED WITH MY OFFICERS, EVEN DESPITE SENDING THE INFORMATION AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Obviously I was fed up at that point but still needed to remain professional as Chief, so I told then I would be willing to compromise if they allowed for drone ships to instead, deliver their supplies to them and if they wished to come onboard, they would just need to take a shuttle from their ship, to Yolia, which could be provided for free in this case as a act of hospitality. And yet, DESPITE, ALL THAT EFFORT, THAT CAPTAIN, HAS THE NERVE TO CALL ME A HAIRY NECKED SEED EATER. Now, while yes, I could have just hung up there and had the Attack Craft escort the mineral freighter away, I decided to just ignore his statement and tell him that a drone ship was coming to replenish his bought supplies and to have a "Wonderful Day". Obviously that was a lie as I had instead flagged his ship for piracy and they had to be searched by a boarding party (woopsie). Now while this does seem slightly in spite I will have you all know that under regulations I am allowed to flag a suspicious vessel and the captain hostility caused that clause to come into affect.

Anyways, regardless of that bad experience the day wasn't completely horrible, I got to greet Alie when she arrived on the station and go to dinner with her in the evening. And luckily, I will have the next 4 days to spend more quality time with her.
